Relaxing Sedation Dentistry
Sedation dentistry can make your visit to our office more relaxed and enjoyable. When administered by our trained team, dental sedation safely reduces anxiety that is brought on by being in a dentist’s office. It can also make time feel like it’s going by faster, making more complex treatments feel like a breeze.
Our practice provides both nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation. Nitrous oxide is great for minor treatments or mild to moderate dental anxiety. This gas is inhaled via a nose mask and its calming effects wear off immediately after the mask is removed. Oral conscious sedation is a deeper form of sedation that makes patients calm and quite drowsy, with its effects lasting for several hours.
